The holistic development of our learners is highly valued at EPS and we offer a variety of activities to stimulate our learners’ development: mind, body and spirit.

Team spirit is of great importance at EPS and the values of good sportsmanship are instilled from a young age. Our learners are divided into two House Teams and earn points throughout the year for participation in all school activities.

Our school offers tailor-made Physical Education periods, under the care of a qualified Kinderkineticist for learners from Grade 1-12. A termly assessment is completed for all learners regarding fitness levels and physical skills development.

In the afternoons, learners have opportunity to practice a wide variety of sports during our Sport Development sessions, facilitated by a qualified Kinderkineticist and experienced sport specific coaches.

The school participates in the Southern African Christian School Sports Association league (SACSSA) in a variety of sport disciplines. Inter House competitions are hosted internally between the house teams. After these internal competitions learners participate in the Vaal West regional competitions and learners who excel on this level progress to the national competitions through SACSSA.
